This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and enhance relationships with key actuator customers in North America, serving as the main point of contact throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
• Take ownership of sales operations for designated accounts, encompassing revenue management, order processing, settlements, supply chain coordination, and tracking of Accounts Receivable.
• Formulate and implement regional business strategies and Go-to-Market plans to boost the uptake of LG actuator solutions in the North American robotics sector.
• Discover and cultivate new business prospects through market analysis and proactive customer interaction.
• Establish and sustain a robust pipeline for projects and sales.
• Represent LG’s actuator offerings at industry events, trade exhibitions, customer meetings, and various market engagements.
• Gather and document Voice of Customer feedback, customer needs, and market insights, relaying findings to internal teams.
• Collaborate with HQ Product Management, R&D, local subsidiaries, and cross-functional teams to facilitate project execution and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain records of sales efforts, account advancement, customer interactions, and project milestones using CRM tools like Salesforce.
• Navigate complex stakeholder relationships and manage lengthy sales processes from opportunity identification through project delivery and revenue generation.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher; a degree in a STEM field is highly preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in component sales within technology-focused industries.
• A strong entrepreneurial spirit with a proven track record of developing and establishing new business opportunities from the ground up.
• Demonstrated experience in customer engagement, strategic account management, and business development.
• Proven capability to manage complex customer relationships and oversee long sales cycles.
• Excellent project management abilities, with the capacity to coordinate multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Proficient in systematically managing, documenting, and communicating sales activities and progress across teams.
• Experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce.
• Willingness to travel frequently, approximately 30% to 50% of the time, including international travel.
• Must possess valid authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
• Preferred experience in R&D or engineering related to humanoid robotics, robot actuators, or similar technologies.
• A Master’s or Ph.D. in Robotics, Actuator Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Korean/English bilingual proficiency is preferred.
