This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Promoting and marketing MedTech products to healthcare professionals, hospitals, clinics, and various medical facilities.
• Achieving and surpassing sales objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Conducting activity reporting and analysis (adhering to SF.COM, POS, Tracer, and others).
• Delivering product presentations, training sessions, and demonstrations to inform customers about product features and advantages.
• Identifying new business opportunities and expanding the customer base within assigned territories, with the capability to present findings to Management within agreed timelines.
• Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the market, competitor products, and industry trends.
• Building and fostering long-term relationships with existing clients.
• Collaborating with marketing, clinical, ISC, and product teams to formulate effective sales strategies.
• Providing after-sales support and ensuring client satisfaction with product performance, which may involve extended hours beyond regular working times.
• Preparing sales reports, monitoring progress, and offering feedback to management.
• Maintaining company assets, lists, and their locations.
• Managing consignment or placement stock.
• Staying informed about regulatory requirements and industry standards for medical devices.
• Participating in events and networking opportunities.
• Upholding the SOLVENTUM Mission, Strategic Pillars, and Values while consistently adhering to the Code of Conduct.
• A Bachelor’s degree from a university or college.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the MedTech industry and the healthcare market in South Africa.
• Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to analyze data and make well-informed decisions.
• Exceptional problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Implementing strategic plans as outlined by the company.
• Ability to comprehend and interpret technical product information.
• A valid driver's license and a readiness to travel frequently.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance and marketing of medical devices.
