This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and implement territory-specific strategies to grow Lightspeed’s clientele. This involves a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements, our range of products, and successful deal closures.
• Generate leads and assist prospects through the sales funnel to accurately assess their needs and determine alignment with Lightspeed’s solutions. Connect with new customers via various channels including inbound inquiries, networking, and social media.
• Work in collaboration with internal departments such as Customer Success and Marketing to deliver a seamless customer experience.
• Maintain an extensive knowledge of our products, competitive strengths, industry trends, market activities, and competitors to pinpoint opportunities and anticipate challenges.
• Track and report sales metrics to leadership, ensuring that data in our Sales Automation and Customer Relationship Management tool, Salesforce, is up-to-date and precise.
• Demonstrated ability to combine strong sales skills with process discipline, relationship-building capabilities, and technical expertise to meet sales objectives and increase market share.
• Over 5 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally focused on selling SaaS solutions in the field.
• Experience in acquiring new customers and logos.
• Proven track record in quota-carrying roles, managing a pipeline as an individual contributor, and consistently surpassing sales targets.
• Proficient in using sales enablement and automation tools (for instance, Zoominfo, Enablix, Salesforce).
• Strong skills in relationship building, capable of engaging with key stakeholders among prospects/customers and executive decision-makers.
• Expertise in navigating complex sales processes and overcoming objections.
• Proven experience with SPIN™ and Solution Selling™ methodologies, including the ability to effectively recognize and respond to customer needs.
• Familiarity with the Powersports, RV, Marine, Golf, or Trailer industries is a significant advantage.
• Knowledge of finance, insurance, retail, and technology sectors is a plus.
