This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +7 more states.
• Achieve net new business sales within assigned industry sectors and territories to fulfill sales objectives.
• Transform sales leads generated from marketing efforts into active sales engagements and finalized agreements.
• Conduct research and create personal leads and contacts to support the above efforts and uncover additional opportunities for new business sales.
• Attain quarterly sales targets established by the SVP, Customer – Fuel & Mobility Retail.
• Oversee the RFI/RFP process for sales opportunities with potential clients.
• Offer high-level strategic planning and comprehensive opportunity/deal management for prospective clients.
• Maintain overall accountability throughout the sales cycle with prospective clients, collaborating with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding and transition.
• Negotiate the terms of software evaluations, project/consulting services, and subscription agreements.
• Verify that the legal terms and conditions of contract documents have been reviewed and approved by Kalibrate before signing.
• Adhere to Kalibrate’s sales process requirements, keeping accurate tracking and forecasting in the CRM, as well as other updated requirements.
• Create and distribute sales visit reports after each meeting with prospective clients.
• Assist in developing sales support materials, including presentations.
• Encourage open communication and teamwork among internal stakeholder groups involved in opportunities.
• Proven experience in net new business software sales within a commercial and relevant industry context.
• Experience in retail fuel and convenience is advantageous.
• Direct sales experience targeting C-Level and Middle Management personnel.
• Background in selling high-value net new deals through complex sales cycles that involve both SaaS and service components.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong conceptual, analytical, and judgment capabilities.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in identifying, understanding, and articulating the needs of prospective clients.
• Skilled in negotiating and successfully closing deals.
• Proven ability to cultivate prospective client relationships to generate incremental business value.
• Demonstrated skills in managing and influencing internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including spending necessary time away from home.
• Proficient with PCs, Windows, MS Office tools, and relevant AI applications.
