This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +5 more states.
β’ Proactively seek out new leads through cold calling, door knocking, networking at events, and innovative strategies.
β’ Identify and nurture sales opportunities for BTM battery energy storage systems (BESS) within commercial and industrial sectors.
β’ Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to contract finalization.
β’ Create persuasive customer proposals with assistance from engineering, legal, modeling, and project finance teams.
β’ Utilize knowledge of customer energy profiles, utility tariffs, and incentives to demonstrate project value.
β’ Engage in consultative selling to match battery use cases with customer requirements.
β’ Prepare concepts, proposals, mutual close plans, and quotes in response to customer inquiries.
β’ Monitor and project sales pipeline activities using CRM tools.
β’ Over 7 years of commercial experience, ideally in energy storage and enterprise sales.
β’ Background in renewable energy and distributed energy resources.
β’ Familiarity with utility markets and demand usage rates, particularly in ON, NE, NY, NJ.
β’ Tech-savvy, with the capability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
β’ Strong skills in strategic planning and analysis related to sales and business strategy.
β’ Proven track record of achieving KPIs.
β’ Expertise in developing, building, and maintaining key strategic industry partnerships.
