This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Accountable for promoting SGS services (testing, inspection, and certification) to new Consumer Product clients to secure deals.
• Responsible for managing the complete sales process, from identifying new business opportunities to negotiating and finalizing contracts.
• Collaborate with management to develop sales strategies aimed at achieving annual targets.
• Establish and nurture business relationships with potential and/or targeted customers.
• Demonstrate high proficiency in selling and presenting SGS services.
• Prepare proposals and negotiate fees, terms, and conditions as required.
• Oversee the sales cycle and advance events and activities to close leads and opportunities.
• Adhere to all reporting and web/call lead timelines as mandated by the company.
• Consistently provide timely and accurate sales reports and other documentation as requested by management.
• Collaborate closely with technical and lab teams to offer value-added service solutions to prospective clients.
• Partner with the customer service team to ensure smooth communication of client information and requirements throughout the order process.
• Address and resolve client order issues in strict accordance with client requirements.
• Participate in industry and trade show events to support lead generation and prospecting efforts.
• A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in consumer products testing within a multinational organization.
• A university degree or equivalent educational qualification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated sales experience with a high level of energy and motivation.
• Proven ability to close sales in a timely manner, complemented by sales training experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• International business experience and a solid understanding of the global supply chain for consumer products.
• Highly organized with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including cross-cultural sensitivity.
• A hands-on, open-minded, and proactive team player.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook 365, and LinkedIn.
