This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Develop a strong pipeline of prospective Morressier clients through desk research focused on organizational needs (upcoming conferences, non-digitized conference content).
• Reach out and engage with decision-makers at potential clients, understanding their requirements and aligning these with suitable services and products to foster new relationships.
• Acquire a deep understanding of the products and services, facilitating independent sales demonstrations and addressing technical inquiries.
• Assist in the creation of relevant materials, demonstrations, and sales collateral.
• Oversee the client journey from initial outreach to contract signing, collaborating closely with all departments throughout the process.
• Keep detailed records using Salesforce and other company data management tools, while striving towards individual, team, and overall company objectives.
• Participate in additional activities as necessary to support this highly collaborative global team.
• 2-3 years of pertinent sales experience in a B2B context.
• Background in selling comparable products to the academic/scholarly sector.
• Exceptional presentation as well as verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable leading dynamic online demonstrations.
• A natural relationship builder with a focus on sales and service.
• Ability to work independently while ensuring robust internal communication and collaboration with global colleagues.
• Technical proficiency and a quick learner of new software.
• Willingness to travel locally, nationally, and internationally (post-Covid) to meet with prospective clients and colleagues.
• Experience in a start-up environment is preferred.
