This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Take ownership of and oversee a complete sales cycle, encompassing lead generation, solution presentations, negotiations, and finalizing sales.
• Develop and sustain a strong sales pipeline by utilizing resources to establish robust relationships with prospects.
• Ensure comprehensive coverage of the assigned territory in collaboration with inside sales teams.
• Engage with and provide guidance to potential medical practices regarding athenahealth's solutions.
• Conduct impactful product demonstrations customized to meet the specific needs of each practice.
• Stay informed on healthcare industry trends to establish athenahealth as a reliable partner.
• Represent athenahealth at industry events and work in conjunction with cross-functional teams.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a corporate or client-facing role.
• Exceptional presentation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficiency in CRM tools; experience with Salesforce is preferred.
• Proven capability to influence potential buyers and demonstrate situational flexibility in the sales process.
• Experience in selling SaaS or technology solutions.
• Knowledge of healthcare and medical practices is advantageous.
