
Sales Engineer/Solution Architect – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Sales during discovery calls, technical deep-dives, and assessments; clarify requirements and define success criteria.
• Convert customer challenges into product use cases, solution strategies, and detailed implementation plans.
• Communicate Trase’s platform and agent capabilities to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Create rapid demo mock-ups and proof-of-concepts (including lightweight “cloud code”/scripted demonstrations) to validate workflows and expedite transactions.
• Manage and enhance demo assets: reusable scenarios, sample data, reference architectures, and competitive positioning.
• Produce clear documentation: requirements summaries, solution proposals, architecture diagrams, and handoff documents for delivery teams.
• Collaborate with Product to establish feedback loops: identify recurring needs, prioritize gaps, and suggest roadmap opportunities based on customer insights.
• Facilitate the delivery handoff: ensure Engineering has the necessary context to implement what was sold and that commitments align with reality.
• Experience in roles such as Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Forward Deployed Engineer, or Solution Consultant in support of customer-facing technical sales.
• Strong technical proficiency: capable of addressing technical inquiries, explaining system behavior, and analyzing trade-offs.
• Outstanding communication skills: able to guide discussions, simplify complexities, and foster trust with customers.
• Product-oriented: skilled at transforming vague customer input into precise requirements, use cases, and prioritized next steps.
• Demonstrated ability to create quick demos or prototypes to display solution pathways and facilitate decision-making.
• Proficient in working with APIs, integrations, and configurable product interfaces (and can quickly learn new systems).
• Ability to collaborate across Sales, Product, and Engineering with strong follow-through.
• Comfortable in dynamic environments where priorities shift based on customer feedback.
• Experience in the healthcare domain (strongly preferred, but not mandatory).
• Senior-level experience, with responsibility for complex customer engagements.
