This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical perspective during the pre-sales phase.
• Serve as the primary technical resource during sales calls, addressing and educating customers and partners on various topics including features, specifications, functionality, and integration.
• Familiar with networking applications and solutions.
• Act as the lead technical contact for designated accounts regarding technical issues after sales, collaborating closely with the technical support team and engineering to address, escalate, and resolve customer technical concerns.
• Provide training assistance to identified customers following the sales process.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in technical or pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in the administration of LAN/WAN/Internet services.
• Demonstrated understanding of DNS and NFS, SMTP, HTTP, and TCP/IP.
• Familiarity with the following technologies: Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Antivirus.
• Strong understanding of the following technologies and protocols: RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.
• Required experience with encryption and authentication technologies.
• Outstanding presentation skills.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in technical or pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in the administration of LAN/WAN/Internet services.
