This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Support the pre-sales process by qualifying sales leads from a technical perspective, comprehending customer needs, and supplying pertinent technical information.
• Act as the primary technical resource during sales calls, responding to customer queries, informing them about features, specifications, functionality, and integration options.
• Showcase expertise in networking applications and solutions, emphasizing the value proposition of Fortinet products and services.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison for assigned accounts post-sale, collaborating with the technical support team and engineering to swiftly resolve customer technical issues.
• Offer post-sales training and continuous support to customers, ensuring they can effectively leverage Fortinet solutions.
• Travel across the designated territory to meet the business's requirements.
• 5 – 8 years of experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
• 5 – 7 years of experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration, demonstrating a thorough understanding of networking technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES technologies and protocols.
• Proven sales professional with extensive knowledge of the technology business sector.
• Familiarity with encryption and authentication technologies.
• Excellent presentation skills, facilitating effective communication with varied audiences.
• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.
