This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Collaboratively engage with Sales Executives and clinician-led Sales Solution Architects to direct and refine intricate pre-sales activities within payer and provider markets, ensuring alignment between customer enterprise architecture and MCG solutions.
• Act as the main technical liaison for customers and potential IT, security, architecture, and digital health stakeholders throughout the sales process.
• Design and guide technical solution strategies pertaining to Smart on FHIR, RESTful APIs, healthcare data exchange, and enterprise system integrations.
• Utilize extensive knowledge in API-driven, service-based, and event-driven architectures to facilitate embedded workflows, system extensibility, scalability, and enterprise-grade integration patterns.
• Clarify and validate integration strategies involving structured and unstructured healthcare data, covering aspects such as data normalization, transformation, and subsequent data usage.
• Interpret and communicate how AI models are integrated into MCG solutions, detailing data inputs and outputs, governance frameworks, model oversight factors, and incorporation into enterprise clinical and operational workflows.
• Manage highly intricate, multi-system, multi-stakeholder enterprise transactions that involve EHR integrations and the expansion of the digital ecosystem.
• Shape solution positioning and commercial strategies by aligning technical architecture with the business objectives of customers.
• Contribute to long-term solution strategies informed by market feedback and the needs of enterprise customers.
• Lead and oversee complex technical due diligence processes, including enterprise security reviews, vendor risk assessments, technical RFP/RFI responses, and discussions on penetration testing.
• Engage in discussions around authentication, authorization, identity management, and secure data exchange patterns, including OAuth2, SSO, and role-based access controls.
• Create and present technical solution architectures, system diagrams, data flow diagrams, integration specifications, and deployment models tailored to customer environments.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, SEAD, Security, and Implementation teams to confirm technical feasibility, assumptions, constraints, and the scope of solutions.
• Effectively communicate technical capabilities, limitations, dependencies, and trade-offs to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in establishing implementation strategies, integration timelines, and technical prerequisites to ensure a smooth post-sale transition.
• Work alongside Marketing and Revenue Operations to produce and maintain technical collateral, reference architectures, and materials for technical enablement.
• Proactively identify and alleviate technical and architectural risks early in the sales cycle.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, Nursing, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience discussing complex technical integrations, architecture, AI-enabled solutions, and workflow integrations with large healthcare clients.
• Proven experience addressing detailed security, privacy, and compliance inquiries from enterprise customers.
• Robust understanding of contemporary software development principles, API-driven integrations, service-based architectures, and embedded application workflows.
• Demonstrated experience with healthcare interoperability standards, including FHIR and HL7, and supporting Smart on FHIR-based integrations.
• Capability to clearly convey complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong presentation skills and outstanding client-facing communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to client sites and MCG-sponsored events.
