This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Support the sales team by providing technical presentations, demonstrations, proof-of-value assessments, and responses to RFPs.
• Ensure that technical solutions are aligned with business objectives.
• Exhibit strong sales expertise and the capability to independently facilitate deals.
• Assess the viability of client requests throughout the sales process and offer insights on potential solution pathways.
• Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend their specific business requirements, processes, and technical needs.
• Establish the Solution Scope for each prospective client to integrate Power Factors applications with their systems, ensuring seamless data flow and optimal performance.
• Work in partnership with Account Executives and technical teams to craft tailored proposals for enterprise clients.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to maintain alignment on solution deliverables and expectations.
• Lead technical discussions, presentations, and negotiations with clients.
• Oversee large or complex projects and serve as the primary technical liaison.
• Act as a technical intermediary between clients and our product and engineering teams.
• Provide training and support to clients during the proof-of-value implementation phase.
• Gather client feedback to inform ongoing product development.
• Participate in industry events and trade shows, representing Power Factors as a technical brand ambassador.
• Offer mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
• Stay informed about the latest trends in renewable energy, SaaS architectures, and related technologies.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders to ensure a smooth and satisfying buying experience by delivering exceptional customer service.
• Pay close attention to detail when customizing customer-facing materials for each prospect.
• Create customer-facing documentation tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a technical field, such as Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Systems Engineering; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in the renewable energy sector, including technical product/project management, business process development, software development, and IoT/networking.
• Experience in using and configuring web-based IoT, SaaS, and IPaaS data platforms, including DAS platforms, SCADA systems, enterprise databases, historians, OSIsoft PI, and other cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
• Relevant experience navigating the renewable energy landscape, including utilities, EPCs, third-party O&M organizations, asset owners, asset managers, and hardware and software vendors.
• Proven ability to tackle complex problems swiftly and manage competing priorities to drive solutions using analytical skills and effective decision-making.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to present in additional languages considered a significant asset.
• Capability to connect with all relevant audiences within an organization, delivering the right message with appropriate detail.
• Process-oriented with a growth mindset; ability to function as both an individual contributor and a project coordinator, working autonomously while facilitating teamwork among multiple stakeholders and escalating issues as needed.
