This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• Your product portfolio includes cutting-edge switching components designed for the management and protection of low-voltage installations, as well as products aimed at monitoring and enhancing energy efficiency in buildings and facilities.
• You will oversee the management of current customers while also pursuing new accounts within your designated region.
• Developing and nurturing long-term relationships with customers at both operational and strategic levels is a key responsibility.
• To achieve this, you will maintain commercial interactions with panel builders, installation companies, OEMs, consultants, and end users.
• Additionally, you will manage the quotation process, engage in negotiations, and collaborate with the internal sales team to ensure project follow-up.
• You will actively seek out potential customers and assess the market using customer data obtained from the sales department to create leads, maintain a quotation pipeline, and secure orders.
• When faced with technical inquiries, you will provide customers with sound advice and convert proposed solutions into orders.
• Collaboration with your colleagues in internal sales and application engineering will be crucial; you will be responsible for ensuring effective teamwork to meet assigned regional goals, contracts, and objectives (including sales targets and customer satisfaction).
• You will contribute proactively and creatively to the development and growth of the service offering.
• Daily collaboration with the local team in Houten and international colleagues at our factories in France will be part of your routine.
• A higher professional education (HBO) degree in electrical engineering or a vocational (MBO) degree complemented by relevant work experience is required.
• You should have several years of experience in commercial field service within the electrotechnical industry.
• Familiarity with low-voltage components and energy management systems is preferred.
• Strong communication skills are essential, as you will need to translate customer needs into optimal solutions based on SOCOMEC products and services.
• You should be ambitious, entrepreneurial, commercially driven, results-oriented, and willing to get hands-on when necessary.
• A self-starter who can work independently while also being a team player is ideal for this role.
• You should be accustomed to working in an organized manner and prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Being on the road frequently is not a concern for you, as most of your time will be spent with clients.
• Experience with Windows, Salesforce, and ERP systems is required.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken Dutch and English is essential.
• Ideally, you reside in the northwest region of the Netherlands.
• A category B driver's license is necessary.
