This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Denmark.
• Conduct pre-sales activities such as solution demonstrations, presentations, technical guidance, proof of concepts, and responses to RfX.
• Serve as the primary technical authority on Ping Identity solutions for clients, partners, and internal teams.
• Build lasting relationships with clients and become their trusted advisor.
• Collaborate with the sales team to drive revenue, focusing on critical phases of the sales cycle including Qualification, Discovery, and Technical Proof Phase.
• Coordinate pre-sales efforts with a post-sales service delivery team throughout the sales cycle.
• Lead customer meetings via videoconferencing and in-person, providing presentations, whiteboarding sessions, and demonstrations of Ping Identity solutions and their value both remotely and at industry events.
• Offer valuable feedback on product enhancements and customer requirements to product owners.
• Mentor junior team members both formally and informally.
• Attain subject matter expert-level knowledge in at least one Ping Identity solution and act as a resource for other Sales Engineers within the organization.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% as necessary, primarily within the Nordic region, with occasional travel to Benelux or Eastern Europe.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or a minimum of 4 years' experience with enterprise-level software systems in a customer-facing capacity, such as pre-sales, consulting, support, or training.
• Extensive knowledge of standard identity protocols: SAML, WS-Fed, OAuth, OIDC, and SCIM, along with experience in REST interfaces.
• Comprehensive understanding of technologies that underpin identity solutions: LDAP (including Active Directory), SSL/TLS, PKI, RADIUS, SQL, DNS, JDBC.
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages and web technologies: JavaScript, Python, Node.js, HTTP, HTML, CSS, JSON, Java.
• Expertise in creating and delivering impactful technical presentations, workshops, tailored demonstrations, and proof of concepts.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Skilled at connecting technical capabilities with customer needs.
• Capable of working with a high degree of self-direction and/or collaboratively with teams and clients.
• Familiarity with a subset of the following IAM concepts: Authentication / Authorization / Federation / Single Sign-On / User Lifecycle Management / Provisioning / Governance / Workflow.
• Willingness to learn; expertise in specific business domains or industry sectors is a plus.
• Knowledge of infrastructure, networking technologies, and cloud service providers.
• Proficiency in any Nordic language.
