This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Support pre-sales activities by qualifying sales leads from a technical perspective, grasping customer requirements, and supplying pertinent technical information.
• Act as the primary technical resource during sales calls, responding to customer inquiries, and educating them about features, specifications, functionality, and integration options.
• Exhibit expertise in networking applications and solutions, emphasizing the value proposition of Fortinet products and services.
• Serve as the main technical contact for assigned accounts post-sales, actively collaborating with the technical support team and engineering to quickly resolve customer technical issues.
• Deliver post-sales training and continuous support to customers, ensuring their effective use of Fortinet solutions.
• Travel across the territory to meet business needs.
• 5 – 8 years of experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
• 5 – 7 years of experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration, demonstrating a thorough understanding of networking technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES technologies and protocols.
• Proven sales professional with a solid understanding of the technology business sector.
• Knowledgeable in encryption and authentication technologies.
• Excellent presentation skills, facilitating effective communication with diverse audiences.
