This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Assist in assessing sales leads from a technical perspective, comprehending customer needs, and supplying pertinent technical information.
• Act as the key technical resource during sales discussions, responding to customer queries, informing them about features, specifications, and functionalities, along with integration options.
• Exhibit expertise in networking applications and solutions, emphasizing the value proposition of Fortinet products and services.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison for designated accounts, actively collaborating with the technical support team and engineering to swiftly address and resolve customer technical issues.
• Provide post-sales training and continuous support to customers, ensuring they can effectively leverage Fortinet solutions.
• Travel across the territory to meet business needs.
• 5 – 8 years of experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
• 5 – 7 years of experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration, demonstrating a thorough understanding of networking technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES technologies and protocols.
• Experienced sales professional with a profound understanding of the technology business landscape.
• Familiarity with encryption and authentication technologies.
• Strong presentation abilities, facilitating effective communication with a variety of audiences.
