This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.
• Collaborate with the sales team to assess opportunities, establish solution strategies, and ensure technical capabilities align with customer business objectives.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and security evaluations within intricate enterprise settings.
• Create and showcase secure architectures that integrate networking, cloud, and SecOps elements.
• Conduct presentations and demonstrations for technical stakeholders and executive decision-makers.
• Act as the main technical authority during sales processes for enterprise accounts.
• Provide guidance on Zero Trust, SASE, cloud security, and SecOps modernization strategies.
• Develop and sustain trusted relationships with C-level executives and senior leadership.
• Convert technical ideas into business value for discussions with executives.
• Assist in deployment transitions alongside professional services, support, and customer success teams.
• Offer roadmap insights, operational reviews, and strategic check-ins.
• Continue to guide enterprise leadership in aligning changing needs with solution capabilities.
• 5–8 years of experience in pre-sales or systems engineering positions.
• Background in enterprise-scale cybersecurity, networking, or cloud environments.
• Strong comprehension of LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VPNs, and TCP/IP protocols.
• Familiarity with IPSec, TLS/SSL, PKI, SAML, OAuth, and RADIUS standards.
• Capability to design SecOps modernization solutions, including SIEM, SOAR, and XDR.
• Proficiency in designing Zero Trust and SASE architectures.
• Understanding of cloud and hybrid security models, including IaaS, SaaS, and containerized workloads.
• Knowledge of identity and access management practices, including MFA, SSO, and PAM.
• Exceptional presentation, communication, and storytelling abilities.
• Skill in engaging technical audiences and executive decision-makers.
• Demonstrated ability to guide architectural discussions and align technical solutions with enterprise business goals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, NSE, CCNP Security, or AWS Security Specialty are preferred.
• Experience in consulting or advising large enterprise clients is preferred.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 is preferred.
