This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in pre-sales activities and account management within the SLED (State, Local, and Education) segment.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to acquire, retain, expand, deepen, and renew customer relationships.
• Showcase CrowdStrike’s platform to potential clients and act as a reliable technical advisor for assigned accounts.
• Clearly communicate the limitations of traditional security solutions and illustrate the advantages of CrowdStrike’s next-generation cybersecurity offerings.
• Function as an authority across the Falcon endpoint portfolio.
• Broaden solution discussions to include SIEM, cloud and workload security, SaaS security posture management, identity threat detection and response, data protection, and adversary intelligence.
• Promote managed services such as MDR, managed threat hunting, and incident response retainers.
• Describe how organizations can safely implement AI and protect against AI-driven threats.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Conduct demonstrations and proofs of value for audiences, including C-level executives.
• Drive competitive displacement and agent consolidation initiatives.
• Convey security challenges to analysts, superintendents, state CIOs, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee post-sales technical relationships, including onboarding, module adoption, health checks, and technical business reviews.
• Collaborate with Account Executives on account planning, renewals, and whitespace strategies.
• Work with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering as the technical liaison between CrowdStrike and customers.
• Enable and mentor peers and channel partners.
• Operate independently with strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in technical disciplines or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 2 years of relevant experience in IT, security, system engineering/administration, sales engineering, or technical account management.
• Experience in customer-facing roles and confidence in leading presentations.
• Proven history of managing long-term technical relationships.
• Demonstrated experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, enhance efficiency, and achieve business results.
• Proficient knowledge of Active Directory and modern identity providers like Entra ID and Okta.
• Understanding of AI/LLM concepts and risks, such as prompt injection, model and training data exposure, agentic identity and access, and AI governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with malware, threat intelligence, and/or sandbox analysis.
• Capability to write and modify basic scripts; preferred languages include PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
• Experience with virtualization/VDI technologies.
• Familiarity with large-scale cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Willingness to travel minimally as needed.
• Preferred knowledge of public-sector compliance frameworks, SLED purchasing processes, and cybersecurity grant funding.
• Preferred certifications include CEH, CISSP, OSCP, and SANS, or participation in security events such as capture the flag.
