• Accountable for the revenue and growth of our KNX business line.
• Primary contact for KNX professionals, including installers, system integrators, and consulting engineers.
• Independently strategize and implement sales activities aligned with the annually established operational strategy.
• Collaborate closely with our Product Marketing team.
• Actively seek and acquire established KNX professionals in the market for ABB through new customer acquisition and cold calling.
• Foster interest in our KNX products among existing ABB customers to enhance customer development.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to prepare specifications.
• Organize and conduct local training sessions, workshops, and events tailored to specific target groups.
• Act as the KNX sales specialist and primary contact for the regional sales team.
• Maintain strong internal communication and collaboration with Sales, Product Marketing, Product Management, and Development.
• A completed technical degree or technical vocational training with additional qualifications (e.g., technician) — preferably in electrical engineering, building automation, or automation technology.
• Ideally, prior experience in technical sales.
• Familiarity with KNX or the building automation sector is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong passion for cultivating sustainable, partnership-driven customer relationships.
• Strong orientation towards sales and closing deals.
• Ability to work independently with a structured and strategic approach.
• A team player who enjoys collaborating within a diverse sales team.
• Willingness to travel within the region.
• Proficient in German and possess good English language skills.
