
Sales Engineer – Industrial Filtration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee sales operations throughout Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala
• Advocate for and sell 3M Industrial Filtration solutions to sectors including automotive manufacturing, breweries and distilleries, pharmaceutical companies, chemical and paint manufacturers, as well as water treatment OEMs and integrators
• Identify customer requirements, evaluate applications, and suggest appropriate filtration solutions
• Meet quarterly and annual sales objectives for the designated region
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with key accounts and industry stakeholders
• Conduct customer visits, deliver technical presentations, and provide product demonstrations
• Oversee payment collections and ensure compliance with credit policies
• Coordinate with distributors, monitor performance, and offer support
• Compile regular sales reports, gather market intelligence, and track competitors
• Travel frequently within the region to engage with customers and explore opportunities
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Production Engineering (preferred)
• 2–3 years of experience in industrial sales, ideally in filtration, capital equipment, process consumables, or related technical products
• Strong technical knowledge and the capability to articulate product applications
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
• Self-motivated, customer-oriented, and open to extensive travel
• Capacity to work autonomously and manage a diverse customer portfolio
