This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Conduct technical product demonstrations and engage in proof-of-concept activities.
• Collaborate with strategic sales teams to customize solutions that meet client requirements.
• Address RFPs/RFIs by providing comprehensive technical content.
• Partner with clients to identify their business challenges and align appropriate solutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to improve customer satisfaction and retention rates.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling based on client needs and usage patterns.
• Represent Quest solutions at industry events, user groups, and trade shows.
• Create and publish whitepapers, blogs, and guides on technical best practices.
• Deliver keynote speeches and participate in panels to build credibility.
• Assist clients in designing optimal architectures for implementing Quest solutions.
• Recommend best practices for implementation, integration, and scaling of solutions.
• Provide insights to product management regarding customer needs and market trends.
• Act as a liaison between sales, support, and product teams to streamline client solutions.
• Mentor junior Sales Engineers within the organization.
• Remain informed about competitive solutions and articulate the advantages of Quest products.
• 8-10+ years of experience in a PreSales position.
• Strong understanding of data intelligence, data modeling, database management, and monitoring tools.
• Practical experience with data management and database tools such as erwin Data Intelligence, erwin Data Modeler, SharePlex, Foglight, and Toad.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to express complex technical concepts.
• Ability to tailor presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in presenting at trade shows, conferences, and user groups.
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues and propose innovative solutions.
• Understanding of sales processes and the capability to align technical initiatives with business goals.
• Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Certifications in data intelligence, database technologies, or cloud solutions (optional).
