This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee all technical discovery, requirements gathering, and solution scoping for ongoing deals.
• Act as the main technical contact for potential clients, from initial demonstrations to contract signing.
• Proactively address and resolve technical objections early in the process, reducing sales cycles and enhancing win rates.
• Convert client requirements into detailed solution architectures utilizing Hapi's Integration Platform, Data Platform, Rules Engine, and Automations as foundational elements.
• Create solution diagrams, integration flow documentation, and technical proposals designed for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ensure proposed solutions align with the product roadmap in close collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.
• Develop engaging, client-specific demonstrations that showcase Hapi's capabilities, particularly for products lacking a conventional UI/UX.
• Construct lightweight proof-of-concept integrations when necessary to validate technical feasibility or boost buyer confidence.
• Build and continuously enhance a library of reusable demo assets and technical materials.
• Assist buyers in articulating and quantifying the value of Hapi's platform to their internal stakeholders, including IT leadership, finance, and operations.
• Create business case frameworks, ROI models, and executive-ready summaries that facilitate the buyer's internal approval process.
• Provide technically sound and commercially compelling responses to RFPs and RFIs.
• Develop and maintain structured scoping templates (such as SPERT) to ensure accurate and consistent pre-sales effort estimates.
• Prepare thorough pre-sales documentation that enables a smooth transition to the post-sales implementation team.
• Collaborate with Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years in a technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or forward-deployed engineering role, preferably within a SaaS or integration-focused organization.
• Proven track record of shortening complex B2B sales cycles through technical leadership and client-facing expertise.
• Experience working with medium to large enterprise clients, including navigating multi-stakeholder decision-making processes.
• Strong familiarity with RESTful APIs, webhooks, JSON/XML data formats, and authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, JWT): APIs & Integrations.
• Solid knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, EC2) or equivalent Azure experience.
• Understanding of relational databases, data transformation, ETL principles, and the ability to produce clear integration flow and architecture diagrams.
• Awareness of data security best practices, encryption standards, and GDPR/PII considerations in system integrations.
• Strong preference for candidates with direct experience in hospitality technology such as PMS, CRS, POS, CRM, and Loyalty Systems.
• Candidates from adjacent verticals, such as travel booking platforms, airlines, fintech, and retail POS with extensive SaaS integration experience will be seriously considered.
• Exceptional ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Strong written communication skills, capable of producing client-ready documentation.
