This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Formulate key account strategies to ensure a competitive edge and optimize order intake.
• Sustain the existing book of business within the designated Mid-Atlantic region while actively pursuing new leads and sales proposals.
• Take the initiative to engage in efforts aimed at attracting new customers.
• Comprehend customers’ technology selection processes to strategically position products and services according to their needs.
• Oversee filter cloth sizing and the proposal process.
• Act as a crucial link among cross-functional teams to facilitate the transfer of information regarding new orders.
• Collaborate effectively with engineering and manufacturing teams to manage post-sale customer relationships.
• Design and deliver presentations that highlight our products and services at relevant trade shows.
• Exhibit flexibility to cross-sell additional Komline products.
• Regularly update and maintain the Salesforce Customer Relations Management (CRM) tool.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Chemistry disciplines is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in selling capital equipment, particularly with filtration, liquid-solid separation, and processing experience is preferred.
• Proven track record of revenue growth or development of new markets.
• Broad and deep industrial knowledge to enhance our business capabilities.
• Established ability to develop customer relationships and manage customer accounts.
• Capacity to handle time-sensitive situations with multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% domestically.
• Preferred experience in pre-contract activities, lab testing, application engineering, post-contract project engineering, mechanical design, parts, and the post-sale cycle.
