This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Engage with our clients to comprehend their existing software development methodologies, documenting findings and identifying potential improvements using Sonatype’s solutions.
• Create and deliver technical insights and illustrative strategies aimed at enhancing customer Software Supply Chain and DevSecOps practices.
• Provide engaging software demonstrations and assist in proof-of-concept (POC) assessments and reference architectures that highlight the advantages of our solutions.
• Work in tandem with account managers by offering technical insights to aid customer evaluations and internal opportunity assessments, while ensuring that all commercial discussions are beyond the purview of this role.
• Participate in and present at meetups and trade shows, sharing knowledge and enhancing visibility and awareness.
• Proven experience in software development and/or a solid background in pre-sales or consulting.
• Experience in positions that facilitate technical evaluation processes without direct involvement in commercial negotiations or contract finalization.
• A customer-centric approach is essential, along with the ability to accurately identify their challenges and develop well-informed technical viewpoints.
• Highly technical, staying abreast of the latest trends in DevOps/DevSecOps, with some familiarity in application security.
• Knowledge of a broad range of tools utilized in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is essential.
