Sales Engineer – Department of Defense

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver both pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance, encompassing system planning, customer training, and system optimization.

• Attain expertise in the functionality and application of Silvus' distinctive radio and networking solutions, highlighting their advantages over rival technologies.

• Develop and execute product demonstrations for customer visits and equipment assessments.

• Travel to client locations to provide technical assistance and conduct training sessions.

• Diagnose failures and unusual circumstances encountered in the field.

• Gather and evaluate data on field failures and anomalies, and relay insights to the development team.

• Assist design engineers in replicating and troubleshooting issues.

• Engage in resource allocation and hardware upkeep to facilitate various sales and business development initiatives.

• Contribute to the advancement of future product development.

• Carry out additional related tasks that reflect the duties mentioned above.

• Travel commitment – 50%; frequent travel is required for meetings, events, and demonstrations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field with a minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a pre-and post-sales technical support role; OR a High School Diploma/GED accompanied by at least 6 years of experience in a similar technical support position.

• Competence with radio frequency equipment, including signal generators and spectrum analyzers.

• Readiness to travel and work on-site with customers.

• Security Clearance: Must possess an active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or be able to obtain one within 15 months of employment.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to contractual obligations with U.S. government clients.
