This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Facilitate professional and independent discovery conversations to identify customer requirements and regional market dynamics.
• Create and present engaging presentations and demonstrations to potential clients throughout the DACH region.
• Interpret technical features into comprehensible business benefits that align with local security and compliance standards.
• Document and assist customers during product evaluations, ensuring requirements are clear, environments are properly configured, and success metrics are established.
• Provide ongoing support to customers during the evaluation phase to enhance adoption, monitor metrics, and showcase FireMon’s value proposition.
• Serve as the main technical contact throughout the sales process, conducting demonstrations and fostering trusted-advisor relationships.
• Maintain an expert-level knowledge of FireMon’s architecture, integrations, and security posture.
• Establish and manage personal lab environments for testing, proofs of concept (POCs), and competitive assessments.
• Collaborate with DACH channel partners (VARs, MSSPs, and distributors) to enhance their technical expertise and support joint go-to-market initiatives.
• Lead both online and onsite technical workshops, confidently engaging with customer engineering and security teams.
• Stay updated on regional competitor technologies and provide insights to product teams regarding market demands and roadmap deficiencies.
• Work closely with engineering and support teams to troubleshoot and address customer issues.
• Cultivate strong relationships across technical, operational, managerial, and executive levels.
• Engage in collaborative customer interactions with Account Managers, Product Management, Engineering, or Support as required.
• Expedite sales cycles by proactively addressing and overcoming technical objections.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in German (speaking, reading, writing) is essential.
• Strong command of the English language for internal collaboration.
• Over 3 years of experience in networking, firewall management, vulnerability/risk assessment, or relevant security technologies.
• Solid network security expertise with practical experience in firewall platforms such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, Juniper, etc.
• Knowledge of European security solutions and the MSSP/partner ecosystem is highly advantageous.
• Exceptional presentation abilities with a knack for quickly establishing rapport with both technical and business audiences.
• Comfortable leading Q&A sessions and tailoring explanations for diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational capabilities and the aptitude to coordinate both internal and external resources.
• Hands-on problem-solving approach with the capacity to navigate technical challenges and achieve successful pre-sales results.
• Team-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of working independently when necessary.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Highly self-sufficient, proactive, and maintains a positive attitude.
• Willingness to travel within the DACH region (up to 25%).
