This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• You will serve as the Technical Sales Lead throughout the pre-sales phase.

• Partner with the sales team to devise and implement targeted account penetration strategies.

• Design and advocate for intricate People-Centric Security solutions that encompass the full range of the Proofpoint portfolio.

• Offer valuable customer insights and real-world experiences to Product Management, Marketing, and Product Development (Engineering) teams to ensure our solutions remain top-tier in the industry.

• Present at or participate in industry seminars and/or trade shows as needed.

• You will become proficient in Email Security, Advanced Persistent Threats, Attack Protection, Threat Response, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and the overall threat landscape.


⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in a customer-facing role, such as a Sales/Systems Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Security Engineer, or senior-level product support, ideally within the cybersecurity sector.

• Proven experience in secure messaging, data security, network security, endpoint, NOC/SOC, or MSP-related cybersecurity.

• Proven track record of developing and sustaining customer relationships with large (Enterprise) clients/organizations.

• Exceptional communication skills, comfortable presenting to individuals and/or teams, including technical staff and C-suite executives.

• Ability to work independently, adapt swiftly, and maintain a positive attitude.

• Familiarity with at least two of the following skill sets is recommended: Enterprise email solutions such as Exchange, G-Suite, Lotus Domino, O365 or working knowledge of SMTP.

• Knowledge of email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).

• Expertise in Advanced Persistent Threats (APT) Protection.

• Experience in IT security, vulnerability or risk assessments, and policy enforcement.

• Understanding of Data Loss Prevention (DLP), compliance, and data privacy.

• Knowledge of cloud security and shadow IT.

• Proficiency in English and the local regional language (French) is essential.

• A degree in Computer Science is preferred but not mandatory.

• CISSP or other industry certifications are advantageous.
