Sales Engineer

📋 Description

• Assist in selling and upselling products and solutions to customers and their technical teams.

• Evaluate and influence customer requirements.

• Advise customers on which products or services will best meet their needs.

• Collaborate closely with Business Development to cultivate new business opportunities.

• Support the Regional Marketing team at trade shows and similar events by providing technical assistance, demonstrations, and booth management.

• Deliver training to both potential and current customers regarding the Vantor portfolio of products.

• Contribute to the design and development of customized products and solutions.

• Create product solutions and services for large and complex opportunities.

• Participate in customer visits.

• Maintain long-term relationships with existing customers.

• Provide a weekly summary of activities within the region.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, Engineering, Geographic Information Systems, Geography, or a related field.

• Proficiency in written and oral English and Spanish is required.

• Proficiency in Portuguese is preferred.

• Must be a citizen of Colombia or Brazil.

• 2-5 years of experience in GIS work.

• Proficient in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or Google Earth Pro.

• Previous experience in the geospatial field.

• Willingness to travel at least 40% of the time.
