This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.
• The Sales Engineer is tasked with optimizing order intake and profitable sales that align with the company's strategic goals within a designated sales territory.
• Create and oversee a personalized sales strategy that meets territory objectives, which includes selecting target accounts, qualifying leads, developing a sales pipeline, and providing precise forecasts.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with customers and key decision-makers through proactive management of contacts, regular visits, and structured follow-ups using CRM tools.
• Conduct discovery meetings to grasp application needs, technical specifications, budget limitations, and timelines; convert customer requirements into a compelling value proposition.
• Organize and present engaging product demonstrations (both remote and on-site), customizing presentations for technical and commercial stakeholders while addressing inquiries and concerns.
• Coordinate and assist with evaluations, trials, and proof-of-concept initiatives as necessary, ensuring technical viability and documenting results to aid customer decision-making.
• Choose and configure suitable equipment and solution options that fulfill customer needs, ensuring compatibility with their environment and compliance with applicable standards.
• Draft high-quality commercial proposals and detailed financial documents, encompassing pricing, configuration, scope of supply, delivery terms, and any service elements.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams (such as applications/engineering, operations, and service) to validate technical solutions, confirm availability and lead times, and guarantee accurate quotations.
• Negotiate within established parameters and manage the opportunity from initial engagement through order receipt, including necessary documentation, internal transitions, and follow-ups for timely closure.
• Keep current records of customer interactions, opportunities, and next steps; provide regular updates on activity, funnel status, and market insights.
• Represent the company at pertinent events (such as customer meetings, seminars, and trade shows) and collect competitive and market intelligence to support business strategy.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least two years’ experience in selling technical products or solutions.
• Proven ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts, adapt to shifting priorities, and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Strong customer-facing abilities with the enthusiasm and professionalism to cultivate and manage key accounts.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows-based tools (such as Office applications) and comfortable utilizing CRM (SFDC) systems for planning activities, tracking opportunities, and efficiently organizing work.
• Fluency in written and spoken Swedish & English is mandatory.
