📋 Description

• We are growing our Sales Engineering team at Syndio and are seeking a Sales Engineer to help define what excellence looks like.

• In this position, you will spearhead critical discovery sessions, provide executive-level demonstrations to stakeholders such as CHROs and technical/security teams, and establish yourself as a trusted resource for in-depth inquiries (data, integrations, security, and AI/PII).

• You will play an essential role as a liaison between Product and Revenue, transforming field insights into more effective demonstrations, enhanced enablement, and clearer product feedback mechanisms.

• Assist Account Executives in high-growth sectors by conducting technical discovery and delivering impactful demonstrations that highlight Syndio’s value.

• Provide engaging, customized product presentations to CHROs, Compensation leaders, CFOs, and technical buyers, tailoring each narrative to align with the priorities of different personas.

• Conduct technical discovery to identify prospect challenges — such as inconsistencies in compensation across business units, compliance requirements across jurisdictions, fragmented data systems, and risks associated with pay decisions — and align them with Syndio's platform features.

• Develop and manage proof-of-concept engagements, utilizing prospect data when suitable to showcase measurable outcomes.

• Simplify complex analytical topics — including compensation modeling, pay decision frameworks, and statistical analysis — into business-friendly terminology that resonates with non-technical stakeholders.

• Act as the technical representative in RFPs, security assessments, and competitive analyses, building trust with enterprise InfoSec and Privacy teams who require assurance before sharing sensitive compensation and personnel data.

• Construct and maintain interactive demo environments and sandbox instances that highlight the full capabilities of Syndio's platform.

• Create reusable demo materials (guided flows, scenario-based walkthroughs, synthetic datasets) that minimize preparation time and elevate the quality of every sales interaction.

• Develop ROI models, competitive battle cards, and technical one-pagers that help accelerate deal progression.

• Relay structured field intelligence back to Product — identifying prospect objections, feature gaps, competitive trends, and emerging use cases.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on beta programs, design-partner sessions, and early-access previews with strategic clients.

• Mentor and onboard future Sales Engineering hires as the team expands.


⛳️ Requirements

• Enterprise Sales Engineering Experience: A minimum of 3 years supporting complex Fortune 500 clients and managing sensitive PII.

• Security & Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with InfoSec principles including SOC 2, encryption, and AI risk management.

• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and the application of enterprise LLMs.

• Executive-Level Communication: Excellent presentation abilities with the capacity to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Domain Translation Skills: Proficient in converting complex analytical and AI concepts into business terminology.

• Strategic Demonstration Development: Capable of creating customized demonstrations that appeal to both HR leaders and technical decision-makers.

• Inquisitive & Adaptable: Demonstrates a high level of curiosity and the ability to quickly learn new software and domains.

• Competitive Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from £71,050 to £101,500 OTE annually. Final offer amounts are influenced by factors such as experience and expertise. We adopt a geo-neutral compensation approach within the US, focusing on job function and level rather than location.
