This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Assist in pre-sales technical engagements with clients and partners.
• Address technical inquiries from customers during evaluation, procurement, and integration phases.
• Convert customer needs into clear technical recommendations and solutions.
• Create technical documents and written responses for proposals, grant applications, customer documentation, and partner communications.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to effectively convey product capabilities and limitations.
• Provide support with hardware setup, integration, and field assistance as necessary.
• Represent the company in client meetings, industry events, and technical discussions.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or Field Application Engineer (FAE) role.
• Strong background in embedded systems, including firmware and hardware integration.
• Proficient in working with PCB hardware, embedded devices, and drone technologies.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of articulating complex technical subjects clearly and succinctly.
• Confident and outgoing, with a comfort in direct interactions with customers and partners.
• Strong technical writing abilities, including contributions to proposals, grant applications, and customer-facing documentation.
• Practical, hands-on approach; effective in both laboratory and field settings.
• Preferred: Experience with drones, robotics, RF systems, or edge AI platforms.
• Knowledge of Linux-based embedded systems.
• Experience in supporting enterprise, defense, or government customers.
• Familiarity with wireless communications, telemetry, or autonomous systems.
• Experience in contributing to technical proposals, SBIRs, grants, or RFP responses.
