This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and the global sales organization to facilitate technical sales cycles, prioritize resources, and successfully close deals.
• Actively interact with prospects to evaluate intricate pain points and provide customized solutions that align platform capabilities with business use cases.
• Propel technical engagement across channel sales networks, which includes ISVs, vendors, and consultancies.
• Travel across EMEA as necessary to bolster sales initiatives, expand opportunity scope, and develop effective customer solutions.
• Lead discovery meetings with both technical and business stakeholders to architect solution designs across on-premises, cloud, hybrid, and Kubernetes environments.
• Provide tailored product demonstrations and effectively communicate fundamental concepts such as distributed caching, partitioning, replication, persistence, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Plan, manage, and execute intricate Proof of Concept (POC) engagements with clearly defined success metrics.
• Assist in performance testing, troubleshooting, sizing, configuration tuning, and conducting competitive assessments.
• Address RFPs, RFIs, security assessments, and architectural reviews.
• Promote the standardization and development of sales engineering best practices, reusable demos, architectural diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Serve as the voice of the field by relaying customer feedback to Product and Engineering teams to shape the roadmap.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Senior Sales Engineer in enterprise technology.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate and engage confidently with audiences at all levels—from developers, DevOps, and architects to CIOs, CTOs, and CXOs—with a solution-focused, collaborative approach.
• Direct experience with in-memory data grids or distributed caching platforms (e.g., Apache Ignite, Redis, Hazelcast, Oracle Coherence, GemFire).
• Foundational understanding of distributed systems, caching, databases, middleware, or data platforms.
• Practical experience with an enterprise programming language (Java, .NET, or Python), web stack technologies, Linux, networking, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Strong comprehension of Banking & Financial Services sectors, including payments, risk management, fraud detection, and anti-money laundering (AML).
• Experience working 100% remotely, with a willingness to travel regionally across EMEA and work off-hours when necessary to close deals.
• Outstanding presentation, whiteboarding, troubleshooting, and written communication skills, coupled with a high degree of personal organization.
