This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
• Serving as the technical trusted advisor to deliver consultative assistance for organizations throughout the South East Asia region (SEA) that are assessing the JumpCloud platform.
• Conducting customized product demonstrations.
• Identifying customer pain points and obstacles, and aligning JumpCloud solutions to address these issues.
• Assisting direct and partner sales teams with product-related inquiries and skill enhancement.
• Cultivating relationships with partners through technical enablement and collaborative selling.
• Aiding prospects with the setup and configuration of free trials.
• Offering technical Q&A to prospects as they navigate through the trial process.
• Evaluating prospect readiness to transition into a formal sales cycle.
• Understanding implementation best practices to advise on achieving the fastest customer time to value.
• Recognizing common technical challenges and themes that can be resolved through product development, automation, and/or self-service.
• Providing an evaluation framework for prospects to follow during their proof of concept (POC).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to converse in local languages such as Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.
• Proficient at simplifying complex tasks into straightforward actionable steps for customers.
• At ease communicating with technical evaluators and IT leaders, and capable of adjusting the conversation to suit the audience.
• A strong desire and capability to grasp new complex concepts.
• 3-5+ years of experience in a technical Sales Engineering or a similar role.
• Solid understanding of Cloud/SaaS technologies.
• Strong comprehension of Active Directory environments.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with industry-standard authentication and authorization protocols such as SAML, OIDC/OAuth, LDAP, RADIUS, SCIM, and JIT.
• Acquainted with MDM, RMM, or similar endpoint solutions.
• Knowledgeable about MFA technologies including TOTP and WebAuthn.
• Experience in configuring and deploying identity and/or directory solutions.
• Background in both direct and channel/partner sales cycles.
