This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
β’ The Sales Engineer operates at the crossroads of sales and engineering.
β’ The ideal candidate must effectively communicate technology and product positioning to executives, business stakeholders, and technical audiences.
β’ Sales Engineers serve as the primary technical support for the sales team, responsible for actively driving and overseeing the technology evaluation phase of the sales process.
β’ They work to ensure success for all Harness customers and collaborate with their sales counterparts to guide customers toward a commercial partnership.
β’ Deliver compelling product demonstrations that illustrate how our software adds value to our customers.
β’ Represent the product to clients and at industry events, such as conferences and seminars.
β’ You should either be currently developing software, have a prior background as a developer, or have worked with developers in a DevOps capacity.
β’ Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform.
β’ Capable of addressing functional and technical aspects of RFIs/RFPs.
β’ Able to communicate customer requirements effectively to Engineering teams.
β’ Willingness to travel within a sales territory with minimal restrictions, occasionally on short notice.
