This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Collaborate with Account Executives from the initial discovery call to the final signed contract, serving as the technical closer.
• Conduct discovery and demonstration sessions that address pricing, forecasting, billing, and reporting needs.
• Facilitate discovery workshops and present to customers effectively.
• Create and deliver customized product demonstrations that align with prospect purchasing criteria.
• Manage proposals, respond to RFPs/RFIs, and craft value-based solution narratives.
• Influence deal strategy, positioning, pricing discussions, and competitive tactics alongside Account Executives, Marketing, and Leadership teams.
• Evaluate competitors and partner offerings for benchmarking purposes.
• Recognize market pain points and convert stakeholder requirements into opportunities that drive value.
• Transition closed deals to implementation while remaining involved as the product and industry expert.
• Provide market and prospect insights to the Product team to assist in shaping the product roadmap.
• 4–6+ years of experience in a revenue-facing technical position such as Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, Pre-Sales, or commercial energy advisory, preferably in the SaaS industry.
• Proven history of supporting the closure of enterprise deals and overseeing technical validation.
• Capability to address objections in real-time and instill urgency in sales processes.
• Strong commercial understanding, including discussions around ROI and familiarity with buying committees.
• Proficient in delivering discovery sessions and demonstrations to both practitioners and enterprise executives.
• Familiarity with the dynamics of the energy and utility markets, encompassing aspects like pricing, forecasting, portfolio management, billing, or settlement.
• Professional proficiency in German is highly regarded but not mandatory.
• Ability to independently conduct discovery workshops and commercial discussions with German-speaking prospects.
• Excellent communication skills in English and adept in stakeholder management.
• Proactive, ownership-driven, and collaborative work style.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations across Europe multiple times each month or to engage in semi-frequent travel within Europe and beyond.
