Sales Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.

• Oversee technical Proof of Concepts (PoCs) within potential clients' environments.

• Cultivate and manage technical relationships with prospects to ensure POC success.

• Engage in Sales, Marketing, and Partner events and conferences.

• Offer training and technical updates for partners.

• Relay customer feature requests to Product Management for consideration.

• Stay informed about industry competition, competitive challenges, and products.

• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of relevant technologies.

• Assist in the upkeep of our ControlUp environment.


⛳️ Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in a technical sales role or an equivalent position, with hands-on experience in end-user experience technologies (3-5 years preferred).

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Demonstrated history of consistently meeting or surpassing sales targets.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, a positive outlook, and resourcefulness, with confidence in decision-making.

• Commercial insight and a customer-focused approach to sales.

• Proficiency in Virtualization and VDI technologies, both on-premises and cloud-based: Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, Nutanix, AWS.

• Knowledgeable in physical endpoints and their operating systems: Desktop/Laptops: Windows, Mac OS, Linux.

• Familiarity with ThinClients: IGEL, Stratodesk, 10Zig, HP ThinPro.

• Experience in or with organizations that have sizable IT departments.

• Understanding of IT Operations with exposure to Microsoft/Citrix/VMware/Nutanix VDI technologies, as well as physical endpoints.

• Familiarity with DEX and how to effectively position its value.

• Skills and knowledge in PowerShell.

• Experience with rapidly growing SaaS companies.

• Proficiency in a foreign language is a significant advantage.
