This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Lead and mentor a team of sales engineers, offering guidance and support in technical pre-sales activities.
• Cultivate a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales engineering team.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of Appgate's cybersecurity and fraud protection solutions, focusing on secure access principles.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to provide valuable insights to the team.
• Work together with the sales team to grasp customer requirements and customize technical solutions that address their cybersecurity needs.
• Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to highlight the value of our Zero Trust and Fraud Protection solutions.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with key customers, serving as a trusted advisor on cybersecurity matters.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement technical sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
• Offer technical expertise during the sales process, addressing customer concerns and ensuring successful product adoption.
• Implement training programs to enhance both the technical and soft skills of the sales engineering team.
• Stay informed about industry certifications and motivate team members to pursue relevant certifications for professional growth.
• Provide constructive feedback to the product development team based on customer interactions and market trends.
• Collaborate on the development of new features and enhancements to continuously improve our cybersecurity solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience in the industry.
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within a cybersecurity or technology-driven organization.
• Proven success in leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Extensive knowledge of ZTNA principles and their application in cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with banking cybersecurity and fraud strategies, along with related solutions.
• Experience with financial institutions is preferred.
• Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Background in fraud prevention, risk management, or cybersecurity is preferred.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset regarding business and technical challenges.
• Native Spanish speaker with proficiency in English is preferred.
