This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +2 more states.
• Formulate and implement strategic sales initiatives to meet revenue goals and enhance our market footprint in the nitric acid sector and designated regions.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with essential stakeholders, including plant engineers, project managers, and procurement professionals.
• Utilize an in-depth knowledge of alloy materials, corrosion resistance, and sector-specific challenges to deliver technical solutions that fulfill client requirements.
• Guide clients through Alloy Engineering’s product range, showcasing the advantages of our solutions for their specific applications.
• Remain informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive activities to uncover new opportunities and sustain a competitive advantage.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product development, and production teams to ensure customer requirements align with Alloy Engineering’s capabilities and manufacturing timelines.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, Material Science, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in sales engineering, ideally within the chemical, nitric acid, or metals/alloys sectors.
• Demonstrated success in a sales capacity, with a background in solution-oriented and consultative selling.
• Strong grasp of the nitric acid industry and the applications of high-performance alloys.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Willingness to travel within North America and internationally as necessary.
