This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Collaborate closely with Regional Sales Managers to assist a specific group of strategic enterprise accounts.
• Serve as the technical authority throughout intricate enterprise sales processes, from initial discovery to final closure.
• Perform in-depth technical investigations to gain insights into customer security operations, data pipelines, detection methodologies, and scalability needs.
• Create and showcase enterprise-grade architectures that illustrate how Vega integrates and enhances the Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Lead technical assessments, pilot programs, and proof-of-value (PoV) initiatives that effectively convey ROI, performance, and operational significance.
• Provide engaging technical demonstrations customized for executive, practitioner, and platform audiences.
• Position Vega as a strategic alternative to traditional SIEM, security analytics, and data platforms, addressing challenges related to scale, cost, and operational complexity.
• Assist in executive briefings, customer quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and architecture evaluations with senior security and IT leaders.
• Deliver product insights based on actual customer use cases to shape the roadmap and go-to-market strategy.
• Keep precise technical opportunity records, evaluation plans, and PoV results in Salesforce and internal systems.
• Stay informed about the latest trends in security analytics, cloud architectures, and AI-driven SOC workflows.
• Over 5 years of experience in a Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Pre-Sales capacity within the cybersecurity or enterprise software sectors.
• Robust technical expertise in contemporary security architectures, including SIEM, XDR, security data lakes, log management, and cloud-scale analytics.
• Experience in facilitating complex enterprise sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and extended evaluation timelines.
• Background in dynamic, high-growth environments.
• Ability to engage effectively with CISOs, VP-level security executives, architects, and hands-on practitioners.
• Established capability to design and articulate scalable architectures across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments.
• Confidence in leading technical assessments, PoVs, and hands-on workshops in enterprise settings.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convert complex technical concepts into business value.
• Strong teamwork skills and a collaborative approach when working with Sales and Product teams.
• Willingness to travel regionally for customer meetings and strategic account interactions.
• Hands-on experience in deploying, managing, or migrating SIEM platforms at scale is a plus.
• Familiarity with large-scale log ingestion pipelines, detection engineering, and SOC workflows is advantageous.
• Understanding of Vega’s mission, architecture, or AI-native approach to security operations is beneficial.
• Recent experience in early-stage startups (Series B/C) is a plus.
