This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Utilize consultative selling techniques with customers to comprehend technical needs and offer solutions utilizing Thales products.
• Create and present solution demonstrations, presentations, and proof of concepts for Thales Solutions.
• Offer high-level consultation and enablement regarding the company’s products and capabilities to Partners, End-Users, and various departments throughout the sales cycle.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management and Business Development to identify, assess, and provide technical recommendations on strategic product enhancements driven by market trends, new technologies, partnerships, or customer needs.
• Partner with the Customer Success and Technical Support teams to guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Develop workflows and responses for Requests for Proposals, Requests for Information, and project proposals.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant products, competitors, and market trends.
• Over 5 years of Sales Engineering experience in one or more of the following fields: DDoS Mitigation, Web Application Firewalls, API Management & Security, Bot Management, or similar cybersecurity solutions.
• Familiarity with the Application Security industry, including products, vendor landscape, history, and emerging trends.
• A foundational understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTP, CDN, load balancers, proxies, and firewalls is essential.
• Practical experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, K8s, Docker, or other containerization technologies.
• Previous experience in API security, API management, SIEM, DevOps, or DevSecOps is preferred.
• Knowledge of compliance standards (PCI, SOX, HIPAA) is an advantage.
• Experience with value-selling/consultative methodologies, playbooks, and processes.
• Capable of effectively presenting technical information to both small and large audiences.
