This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.
• Develop and implement national sales strategies for distributors to enhance revenue growth and market presence.
• Build and nurture relationships with essential distributor partners within designated territories and channels.
• Collaborate with distributor sales teams to enhance product placement, promotional initiatives, and brand awareness.
• Oversee and manage an annual sales budget, ensuring responsibility for revenue, expenditures, forecasting, and profitability goals.
• Evaluate sales trends, market dynamics, and distributor performance metrics to discover growth opportunities.
• Work collaboratively across departments including marketing, trade marketing, supply chain, and leadership teams to facilitate strategic initiatives.
• Conduct regular business reviews with distributors and deliver actionable insights to enhance performance.
• Identify new business prospects and assist in onboarding potential distributor partners when necessary.
• Travel nationally as required to foster distributor relationships, participate in trade events, and engage with customers.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in sales, distributor management, or account management.
• Experience in the premium cigar industry is highly desired.
• In-depth understanding of distributor business models, sales processes, and route-to-market strategies is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage annual budgets, forecasting, and sales performance metrics.
• Strong skills in negotiation, communication, and relationship development.
• Capacity to analyze data and convert insights into actionable business strategies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel nationally as required by business needs.
