This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Recruit and manage a high-performing, inclusive team of 6-8 exceptional account executives to reach quarterly objectives.
• Deliver both onboarding and continuous support to ensure the team’s preparedness, growth, and professional advancement.
• Cultivate strong relationships with Mainline AEs and leaders, as well as Specialist Sales Engineers, to enhance the team selling approach and improve conversion rates.
• Closely monitor the sales pipeline and collaborate with Mainline owners and Account Development Representatives to devise account strategies targeting whitespace opportunities.
• Collaborate across functions with product, marketing, and strategy teams to swiftly address challenges and refine the go-to-market strategy for your new product.
• Advocate for, exemplify, and integrate Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we expand Specialist support globally.
• Minimum of 8 years of sales experience, demonstrating a successful track record in managing a complex sales process from prospecting to closing.
• At least 3 years of experience in team management.
• Proven history of exceeding targets, along with experience in coaching a team in outbound sales efforts.
• Familiarity with intricate sales cycles that involve multiple decision-makers, various products, and lengthy timelines.
• Exceptional communication abilities and confidence in public speaking.
