This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Recruit and guide a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged team of 6-8 exceptional account executives to meet quarterly objectives.
• Offer both onboarding and continuous support to ensure the team's preparedness, growth, and professional advancement.
• Cultivate strong relationships with Mainline Account Executives and leaders, as well as Specialist Sales Engineers, to enhance team selling strategies and conversion rates.
• Closely monitor the sales pipeline and collaborate with Mainline owners and Account Development Representatives to develop account plans that target whitespace opportunities.
• Collaborate across departments including product, marketing, and strategy to swiftly address challenges and optimize go-to-market efforts for new products.
• Advocate for, exemplify, and integrate Samsara’s cultural principles as we expand Specialist support on a global scale.
• A minimum of 8 years of sales experience, demonstrating a strong performance in managing a complex sales process from prospecting to closing.
• At least 3 years of experience in team management.
• Proven track record of exceeding targets, with experience in coaching teams on outbound sales initiatives.
• Familiarity with complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers, various products, and prolonged timelines.
• Outstanding communication abilities and comfort with public speaking.
