This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Sales Director for Multifamily will be instrumental in implementing Allbridge's growth and expansion initiatives.
• This position is tasked with propelling the organization's rapid expansion into both new and current markets and securing new business through strategic and consultative selling to national and regional property owners and managers.
• The role encompasses driving revenue growth within the multifamily and senior living sectors, managing complex, large-scale opportunities.
• The ideal candidate will be a proactive hunter, consistently utilizing thoughtful sales processes with a proven history of exceeding sales targets.
• This client-facing role demands extensive industry knowledge, a verified track record, and a broad network of industry contacts.
• The position will report to the Chief Financial and Operating Officer.
• The Director will collaborate closely with Sales Engineering, Product, and Operations to provide scalable, market-aligned solutions and position Allbridge as a preferred provider among key ownership and management groups.
• Specific duties include: possessing some authority for contract negotiations, including pricing, features, and installation timelines according to company standards.
• Identify new business opportunities by recognizing potential clients, fostering relationships with key decision-makers, and penetrating national sales markets.
• Achieve assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives within designated accounts.
• Initiate internal partnerships with sales and solutions engineering team members to assist in closing complex and/or technical sales that require additional technical expertise.
• Employ consultative selling skills to swiftly evaluate needs and sales prospects within the client base.
• Present solutions and proposals that address and resolve these requirements.
• Attend industry and business development events, including identifying and nurturing sales leads.
• Engage in strategic account planning to enhance our presence and increase penetration into large accounts or opportunities.
• Provide forecast reporting and fulfill required training/development objectives within the designated timeframe.
• Consistently integrate Albridge’s core values into daily practices by treating all customers, both internal and external, with professionalism, honesty, and respect.
• Accept ownership and accountability for position responsibilities while consistently striving to deliver innovative results for internal teams and customers that build trust, uphold high standards, and ensure quality performance.
• Meet clients face-to-face, showcasing deep industry expertise. Travel requirements typically range from 30-40% based on business needs.
• Successful completion of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (or international equivalent) in business administration.
• A graduate degree is preferred. Alternatively, 6 years of strategic sales experience is required in lieu of a degree.
• A minimum of 4+ years of proven strategic sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment, particularly within the Multifamily and Senior Living sectors, with a preference for experience selling video services, advanced network and infrastructure platforms, and smart technology (IoT) solutions.
• Ability to develop rapport and maintain lasting relationships with large national firms, professionally managing accounts, scheduling and pitching sales meetings, negotiating contracts, and closing deals involving cutting-edge, disruptive technology at the enterprise level.
• Consistently demonstrates outstanding professional business acumen, organizational skills, attention to detail, adherence to deadlines, and metrics-driven decision-making capabilities.
• Maintain a strong portfolio of C-Level contacts within Enterprise Accounts.
• Advanced understanding of construction management processes, with a preference for expert knowledge of building products, construction details, relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
• Familiarity with prospecting and customer relationship management tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, BuildCentral, Construct Connect, and Salesforce.
• Remain adaptable and able to quickly learn new technologies and processes.
• Must be flexible, an excellent communicator with a customer service orientation, and consistently demonstrate skills in accuracy, organization, and time management.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment, maintaining a high level of detail and conscientiousness.
• Possess excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills in English.
• Intermediate level PC skills are required, with proficiency in operating within a Windows Operating System and Windows-based programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, and Project.
• Intermediate experience with Salesforce and NetSuite accounting software is advantageous.
• Ability to travel 30-40% based on business needs.
