This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania, +1 more state.
• Lead initiatives to discover and pursue new business opportunities within the market research sector.
• Develop and oversee a pipeline of potential clients, which includes Fortune 500 companies, startups, and other prospective partners.
• Formulate and implement innovative business development strategies through cold outreach, networking, and participation in industry events.
• Identify and source new clients by building networks and independently recognizing and cultivating pertinent resources for sales and business development.
• Create and execute strategic sales plans aimed at achieving ambitious revenue targets.
• Foster long-term client relationships through proactive outreach, networking, and tailored engagement.
• Manage and expand self-acquired accounts utilizing outstanding sales and relationship-building abilities.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of key research methodologies (e.g., qualitative, quantitative, ethnographic) and technologies.
• Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for new and potential clients, guiding them throughout the sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation.
• Commit to and achieve all personal KPIs weekly.
• Present weekly Plans of Action to meet KPIs during weekly Sales calls.
• Meet all personal financial objectives, achieving target revenue and profit each quarter.
• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by managing expectations and delivering top-quality market research services.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, such as research, analytics, and marketing, to guarantee smooth project execution and delivery.
• Work with the marketing team to develop sales materials and campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
• Actively engage in the development of new products/services, offering feedback based on client interactions.
• Monitor and report on business development activities, including sales pipeline, client meetings, and revenue generation.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Market Research, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of Sales experience, ideally in the market research, consulting, or data analytics sectors.
• Demonstrated success in generating new business and driving revenue growth.
• Strong understanding of market research tools, methodologies, and industry best practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with C-suite executives and decision-makers.
• Strong negotiation abilities and experience in managing complex sales cycles.
• Analytical mindset, capable of interpreting data and research findings to inform business strategies.
• High level of professionalism, self-motivation, and a results-oriented approach.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and manage cross-functional relationships.
• Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and other business development software.
