
Sales Director – Insurer and Workers' Compensation Board Partnerships

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Drives revenue growth by identifying, cultivating, and securing new business opportunities within insurer and Workers’ Compensation Board channels.
• Oversees the complete sales cycle, which includes prospecting, assessing client needs, presenting solutions, responding to RFPs, and negotiating contracts.
• Constructs and implements strategic account plans to enhance market presence and reinforce existing partnerships.
• Develops and sustains strong, long-term client relationships, positioning the organization as a trusted advisor.
• Collaborates across departments to deliver seamless, client-centered solutions and improve the overall customer experience.
• Identifies growth and retention opportunities within current accounts to support ongoing revenue expansion.
• Keeps track of market trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs to effectively position solutions.
• Manages pipeline activities, meets sales targets, and ensures accurate reporting within CRM systems.
• Represents the organization at networking events, industry conferences, and through thought leadership activities.
• Contributes to team success via knowledge sharing, collaboration, and a focus on continuous improvement.
• Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce, Sales, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Sales and/or Account Management role within a Business-to-Business services environment (preferably in insurance, WCBs, or group benefits).
• Professional designations or sales-related certifications are considered advantageous.
• Proven track record of success in complex sales environments, encompassing prospecting, closing, and nurturing strategic partnerships.
• Exceptional relationship management, negotiation, and influencing abilities, with a background in engaging senior stakeholders.
• Strong business and financial insight, with the capability to analyze data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills; bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively handle multiple priorities.
• Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with insurance, workers’ compensation, disability management, or return-to-work environments is preferred.
