This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Identify new leads and cultivate opportunities within the Healthcare IT vendor sector.
• Strategically manage and expand assigned accounts by creating and implementing account plans that promote growth and cross-selling opportunities.
• Build and sustain C-level relationships with prospects through a consultative, trusted advisor approach to generate new business opportunities.
• Meet sales objectives through disciplined management of the sales pipeline and forecasting.
• Leverage key business insights to elevate customer priorities and understanding.
• Serve as the opportunity owner by coordinating the virtual selling team and all necessary resources to maximize business potential.
• Stay informed on the latest technology and business trends in the healthcare IT industry.
• Implement and adhere to sales process fundamentals, including needs and pain analysis, solution development, product presentations, and proposal drafting and refinement.
• Develop, maintain, and utilize knowledge of the competitive landscape.
• Conduct regular outreach to potential clients.
• Record all prospect-related activities using our CRM system (Salesforce).
• Integrate AI into repeatable, systematic workflows (e.g., reporting, analysis, planning), utilizing it by default to enhance efficiency, consistency, and decision-making.
• Create reusable prompts, templates, and simple automations that merge AI with internal data to drive continuous productivity improvements across various workstreams.
• Bachelor’s degree in a field related to business and/or healthcare IT; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a complex healthcare software sales and account management setting.
• Proven success record in healthcare IT sales, demonstrating the ability to close deals with both new and existing accounts (cross-sell/upsell).
• A strong passion for technology and a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to support all facets of a sale to clients with our innovative offerings.
• Experience and/or knowledge of the health IT sector with an emphasis on modern systems to address future information and insight challenges.
• Willingness to travel by plane and drive for extended periods to cover the designated territory.
