This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Achieve established bookings, revenue, and margin objectives for the designated business segment.
• Formulate and implement a business plan along with sales strategies that align with the overall organizational strategy.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with key customers in targeted accounts.
• Maintain an extensive understanding of product offerings and market dynamics.
• Engage in cross-functional teams that assist all customer-facing roles within the assigned territory.
• Negotiate and broker complex contracts with large national and regional payer accounts.
• Propel direct client sales aimed at acquiring new logos, consistently establishing contacts, obtaining referrals, and scheduling appointments with target accounts.
• Sell to senior leaders and C-level executives at National and Regional Health Plans.
• Manage and prepare sales support for key prospect meetings, both onsite and via phone.
• Hold full responsibility for pursuing and completing RFI/RFPs.
• Oversee contract review and management, including MSA, SOW, and SLAs.
• Provide support for meetings and trade shows as needed, including scheduling essential executive meetings and attending key industry events (e.g., AHIP, RISE, Risk Adjustment Summits, Blues Summit).
• Proven track record of establishing strategic relationships and successfully selling and closing complex deals within the Health Plan/Payer sector.
• Demonstrated success in leading sales strategy and driving revenue growth in value-based care, with in-depth knowledge of quality, risk adjustment, and associated care delivery funding models.
• At least 5 years of senior-level sales experience in Health Plans is required.
• A bachelor's degree is mandatory; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience in selling within intricate environments is essential.
• Strong analytical skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and presentation expertise.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High level of personal organization, time management, and capability to multitask.
• Must thrive in a fast-paced, demanding work environment.
• Willingness to travel 50-75% of the time.
