• Lead, coach, and nurture a sales team comprising 5 Account Executives and 1 Sales Administrator to meet monthly revenue objectives.
• Act as a player-coach by engaging directly in deals and customer discussions to drive outcomes.
• Provide continuous coaching, mentorship, and performance management to the sales team.
• Collaborate with customers and prospects to enhance opportunities and finalize strategic or complex sales.
• Identify avenues for growth, strategic partnerships, and market expansion initiatives.
• Take ownership of pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and KPI performance metrics.
• Enhance sales processes, territory alignment, and execution strategies.
• Represent HSI at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
• Cultivate relationships with customers, instructors, and partners.
• Work collaboratively across functions with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Customer Success teams.
• Gather customer and market insights to inform strategic and product direction.
• Over 7 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in training, certification, healthcare, safety, or similar industries.
• More than 3 years of experience in sales leadership managing distributed teams.
• Proven experience leading a sales team of 5 or more individual contributors.
• Demonstrated success in achieving or surpassing revenue targets in B2B sales positions.
• Practical experience utilizing CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
• Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasting, and KPI tracking.
• History of acting as a player-coach by directly participating in customer and prospect discussions to advance and close sales.
• Experience collaborating with Marketing, Product, Operations, or Customer Success teams to meet revenue goals.
• **Preferred Qualifications:**
• B2B sales experience in training, certification, healthcare, safety, or related sectors.
• Familiarity with transactional and solution-based sales methodologies.
• Experience working with instructor networks, channel partners, or broad customer bases.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25–30% for trade shows and customer engagement.
